BACKGROUND:

Right-of-way engineering for the Hollywood Boulevard extension between Vegas Valley Drive and Galleria Drive project has identified that partial acquisition and permanent drainage easement of Assessor's Parcel Number 161-36-101-004 (Forester Real Estate Group Inc.) may be necessary.

The appraisal report identified herein will provide information necessary for acquisition of right-of-way and permanent drainage easement shown on the current plans.  The parcel has been approved for development of a residential community, and acquisition of the necessary rights-of-way at this time will assist in further development of the parcel, and avoid additional acquisition costs.

Authorization to appraise and acquire a portion of the aforementioned parcel is now being sought from the Board of County Commissioners.
