BACKGROUND:

The Clark County Regional Flood Control District (RFCD) has programmed funds for the maintenance of flood control facilities.  On April 11, 2019, the County and RFCD entered into an interlocal contract for the Flamingo Wash between Maryland Parkway and Palos Verdes Street project (Clark County Public Works Project No. PW.M050701).  The Board of County Commissioners approved this interlocal contract on May 7, 2019.

The attached Supplemental No. 1 to the interlocal contract reallocates funding from design to include a new line item for entity design labor for the subject project.

This project has been approved by RFCD on its annual Ten-Year Construction Program, and is described in the 2018 Clark County Flood Control Master Plan Update as Facility Numbers FLWA 0621 and 0673.  RFCD approved the first supplemental contract at its meeting on October 14, 2021.

The District Attorney's Office has reviewed and approved the first supplemental contract as to form.
