BACKGROUND:

On September 6, 2021, the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) issued a call for project applications for funding in the Round 19 Southern Nevada Public Lands Management Act (SNPLMA) appropriations funding cycle.  The deadline for the Round 19 project applications is November 5, 2021.

Department of Real Property Management (RPM) is in the process of determining the cost estimates for the above referenced projects.

This agenda item is intended to meet the provisions of Fiscal Directive #2, which requires complete grant applications to be approved by the Board prior to the submittal to the BLM.

If approved, this action will authorize the Director of Comprehensive Planning to submit up to 3 project applications to the BLM for Round 19 funding consideration by the November 5, 2021 deadline.
