Clark County was awarded $440 million in Fiscal Recovery Funds to support the County's recovery efforts from the negative health and economic impacts of the pandemic.  Additional personnel resources are required to meet the increased service demands stemming from the negative impacts of the pandemic, pursue and administer grant awards that aid the County's recovery efforts, facilitate the County's recovery plan to meet the needs of populations disproportionately impacted by the pandemic and to strengthen County programs and services that will improve the quality of life for all community members.
