BACKGROUND:
Bid No. 605838-21, for Arterial Reconstruction Program: Russell Road and Hacienda Avenue Project was advertised on August 25, 2021 and opened on September 30, 2021. The Bid Amounts are as follows:

This Contract is for - Scope Section-A:
The project encompasses roadway resurfacing and related improvements on the following roads:
Russell Road from Stephanie Street to Boulder Falls Street.
Hacienda Avenue from Nellis Boulevard to Stephanie Street.
Improvements include, at a minimum, milling and overlay, full depth replacement of pavement section, ADA improvements to existing substandard sidewalk ramps at intersections and at driveways that connect to onsite pedestrian sidewalk, replacement/installation of traffic signal loops, new pavement markings, extension of storm drain in Hacienda Avenue, vertical adjustments of utility lids, median islands at various locations with full-depth improvements, Intelligent Traffic Systems (ITS) conduit and /or fiber optic if not existing, LED street lights where not existing, replacement of HPS streetlight luminaires with LED, replacement of existing traffic signs if damaged, marked, or illegible, and other necessary appurtenances and improvements required to make a good, complete, and serviceable project within the existing right-of-way.
Scope Section-B:
The project scope is to install new traffic signal systems with other improvements at two locations: Boulder Falls St. & Russell Rd., and Boulder Highway. Other traffic improvements include installing traffic loops, median islands, new pavement or pavement rehab, and reconstruct sidewalk ramps, and appurtenances as necessary to construct complete and functional projects.
The following are the pertinent provisions of the Contract:
• The Contractor shall complete the entire work within 180 calendar days from the date specified in the Notice to Proceed.
• Includes the standard termination for cause within 7 business days and termination for convenience language as in all public works efforts of this type.
The recommendation of award is in accordance with NRS 338.1385.5, a public body or its authorized representative shall award a contract to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder.
Las Vegas Paving Corporation currently holds a Clark County Business License.
