BACKGROUND:
This Agreement is to provide reimbursement to City of Mesquite to provide adults, especially age 60 and older, the opportunity for a well-balanced meal that meets dietary guidelines and helps to alleviate and prevent malnutrition as part of the Mesquite Senior Services program. The following are the pertinent provisions of the Agreement:• The term of the Agreement is from July 1, 2021 through June 30, 2022 and includes a 6 month extension.• Includes the County’s option to terminate for cause, convenience or default and suspend the Agreement with advanced written notice.The recommendation of award is in accordance with NRS 277.180, the parties are authorized to enter into interlocal contracts to perform governmental functions and activities.
