BACKGROUND:

NRS 501.260 establishes a Clark County Advisory Board to Manage Wildlife (CCABMW) consisting of five or seven members. The current CCABMW consists of seven members who serve in an advisory capacity to the Nevada State Board of Wildlife Commissioners by soliciting and evaluating local opinion on matters relating to the management of wildlife in Clark County and the State of Nevada. Pursuant to NRS 501.265 through 501.275, the Board of County Commissioners appoints qualified persons to the CCABMW.

Due to Vice Chair John Michael Reese’s and Board Member Molly DiBlasi’s terms expiring, there are two vacancies on the CCABMW.  The vacancies and a request for applications were advertised and posted on the Clark County website from September 14 - October 14, 2021.  The seven qualified individuals listed above have applied for the two vacancies and are interested in being appointed as board members of the CCABMW.
