BACKGROUND: 

In June 2021, the Clark County Treasurer's Office was notified by the Nevada Unclaimed Property regarding  unclaimed savings account of the deceased, Thomas Francis Marion.  Mr. Marion died on September 14, 2013.  There is no known living relatives and Clark County Child Haven was named as beneficiary of the said unclaimed savings account totaling $191,089.74.

Pursuant to NRS 244.270, the Clark County Board of County Commissioners (Board) is authorized to receive, by donation, any property for the use and benefit of Clark County.

The Board is asked to accept the funds for the use and benefit of children in the care of Clark County.
