BACKGROUND:
Bid No. 605857-21, for Streetlight LED Phase 2 was advertised on August 5, 2021 and opened on October 7, 2021. The Bid Amounts are as follows:

L.L.O. Inc., dba Acme Electric (NBE) $3,427,775.00
Mc4 Construction (WBE) $3,897,677.00
*Sturgeon Electric requested the opportunity to withdraw in lieu of being formally rejected because of a calculation error.
This Contract is for the upgrading of existing HPS (High Pressure Sodium) luminaires to LED (Liquid Emitting Diode) luminaires in both the southeast and southwest parts of town. Starting at the south side of Charleston Avenue all the way to Pine Avenue completing the southeast section of the valley and portions of the southwest starting at Hualapai Way to Las Vegas Boulevard. Upgrades also include high mast lights from 215-N from Tenaya Way to Avery Road. The improvements will consist of the replacement of existing HPS streetlights with LED on 80' and 100' right of ways and high mast upgrades.
The following are the pertinent provisions of the Contract:
• The Contractor shall complete the entire work within 90 calendar days from the date specified in the Notice to Proceed.
• Includes the standard termination for cause within 7 business days and termination for convenience language as in all public works efforts of this type.
The recommendation of award is in accordance with NRS 338.1385.5, a public body or its authorized representative shall award a contract to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder.
L.L.O. Inc., dba Acme Electric currently holds a Clark County Business License.
