BACKGROUND:
The Department of Aviation has an existing Contract (CBE-547) with First Transit, Inc. (Company) for shuttle bus operations and maintenance at the LAS Rent-A-Car Center. The current contract term would expire on March 27, 2022. Due to the operational impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic, staff has determined that it would be appropriate to extend the existing contract until June 30, 2025.
The extension shall be effective March 28, 2022, through June 30, 2025. The annual contract amount shall not exceed $9,620,000.00. All other contract terms and conditions shall remain unchanged.
In accordance with NRS 332.115.1, these services are exempt from competitive bidding requirements.
The First Amendment has been reviewed and approved as to form by the District Attorney's Office. Company currently holds a Clark County Business License.
