BACKGROUND:

On November 21, 2017, the Board of County Commissioners approved a professional engineering services contract with GCW, Inc. for engineering services for the Clark County 215 South Bruce Woodbury Beltway between Decatur Boulevard and Interstate 15 project.

The Board previously approved Supplemental No. 1 to the professional services contract with GCW, Inc. for design of Phase Two of the Beltway, which is considered to be the ultimate configuration of the Beltway.

The attached Supplemental No. 2 to the professional services contract with GCW, Inc. increases total funds for design of sign replacements to accommodate the name change of McCarran International Airport to Harry Reid International Airport, adds a redesign of the bridge widening over the Union Pacific Railroad (UPRR) tracks, and extends the contract time of performance to January 30, 2025, unless further time extensions are granted.

GCW, Inc. currently holds a Clark County Business License.

The District Attorney's Office has reviewed and approved the supplemental contract as to form.
