Additional Comments:

Supplemental No. 4 increase of $50,000 revises the total contract value to $3,000,000.

 

BACKGROUND: 

On December 14, 2017, the Regional Transportation Commission of Southern Nevada (RTC) approved Interlocal Contract No. 973 for the Traffic Safety Improvements Package No. 102 project on its annual Capital Improvement Program from Motor Vehicle Fuel Tax Funds.

On January 2, 2018, the Board of County Commissioners approved Interlocal Contract No. 973 with RTC for design engineering for the subject project.  The Board approved Supplemental Nos. 1 through 3 to this contract approved by the Board increased funds for engineering and right-of-way, revised the scope of work, and increased funds for added engineering and additional intersections for the subject project.

The attached Supplemental No. 4 to the interlocal contract increases total funds for additional design engineering for internal labor services.

The requested additional funds for this project are budgeted in RTC's Highway Improvement Acquisition Fund for Fiscal Year 2022.  RTC approved the supplemental contract at its meeting on November 18, 2021.

The District Attorney's Office has reviewed and approved the fourth supplemental contract as to form.
