BACKGROUND:

On July 19, 2005, the Board approved the agreement with the Southern Nevada Health District (SNHD) to accept administration of the Ryan White Part A Program.  CCSS was designated as the County agency to administer the program and is responsible for overseeing all grant funding activities, coordinating with the Ryan White Part A Planning Council and other agencies throughout the Transitional Grant Area (TGA), managing program expenditures, and preparing reports required by HHS for the program.

For the grant period March 1, 2022 through February 28, 2023, the CCSS Ryan White Part A Program proposed funding of $6,945,758.00.  CCSS Ryan White Part A Program is requesting $6,447,701.00 to cover anticipated Ryan White Part A Program and $498,057.00 to cover anticipated Minority AIDS Initiative (MAI) activities in the Las Vegas TGA.  The grant amount was coordinated through the Ryan White Part A Planning Council.  Grant award amounts for the subsequent grant years (March 1, 2023-February 28, 2025) will be awarded on a yearly basis.
