BACKGROUND:

On March 18, 2003, the Board of County Commissioners approved a professional engineering services contract with HDR Engineering, Inc. to provide engineering services for the project on Russell Road between the Las Vegas Beltway and Rainbow Boulevard (Project No. PW.R02008S).

The Board has previously approved six supplemental professional engineering services contracts with HDR Engineering, Inc. for various phases of this project for additional professional engineering services and contract extensions.  The attached Supplemental No. 7 to the professional services contract allows HDR Engineering, Inc. to continue providing professional engineering services through construction for the project by extending the time of performance to December 31, 2022, unless further time extensions are granted.

HDR Engineering, Inc. currently holds a Clark County Business License.

The District Attorney's Office has reviewed and approved the supplemental contract as to form.
