BACKGROUND:

On May 21, 2020, the Regional Transportation Commission of Southern Nevada (RTC) approved Interlocal Contract No. 1187 for the Freeway and Arterial Systems of Transportation (FAST) Network Upgrades project among Clark County, City of Las Vegas, City of North Las Vegas, and City of Henderson (collectively, the "Member Entities") for engineering services from Fuel Revenue Indexing Extension Funds.

On June 16, 2020, the Board of County Commissioners approved the Interlocal Contract No. 1187 with RTC and Member Entities.  The attached Supplemental No. 1 to this interlocal contract increases total funds for engineering for this project.

The project is included on RTC's annual Capital Improvement Program and the requested additional funds are budgeted in RTC's Highway Improvement Acquisition Fund.  RTC approved the first supplemental contract at its meeting on December 9, 2021.

The other Member Entities are scheduled to approve the first supplemental contract at their respective Council meetings.

The District Attorney's Office has reviewed and approved the first supplemental contract as to form.
