BACKGROUND:
On September 20, 2016, the Board of County Commissioners approved a professional engineering services contract with The Louis Berger Group, Inc. (now known as WSP USA Solutions Inc.) for a feasibility study for the Inbound Elevated Expressway project (No. PW.S160824). Effective January 1, 2020, the merger of Louis Berger U.S., Inc./The Louis Berger Group, Inc. and WSP USA Solutions Inc. was complete; and all Louis Berger personnel became WSP employees.
As a result of the aforementioned study, it was determined to widen Koval Lane between Sands Avenue and Tropicana Avenue, establish a new connection between Koval Lane and Paradise Road along the Tompkins Avenue alignment, and evaluate an extension of Howard Hughes Parkway between Flamingo Road and Tropicana Avenue.
The Board previously approved Supplemental Nos. 1 and 2 to professional engineering services contract with WSP USA Solutions Inc. to extend the contract term and increase total funds to $4,019,718.37 for additional professional engineering services.
The attached Supplemental No. 3 to the professional services contract with WSP USA Solutions Inc. extends the contract term for the continuance of professional engineering services through construction of the project. The time of performance is extended to December 31, 2024, unless further time extensions are granted.
WSP USA Solutions Inc. currently holds a Clark County Business License.
The District Attorney's Office has reviewed and approved the third supplemental contract as to form.
