BACKGROUND:
On January 7, 2019, the Board of County Commissioners approved a pre-qualification list to be used to select professional services for the period of January 7, 2019 through December 31, 2020. On December 1, 2020, the Board approved a one-year extension of this list through December 31, 2021. WSP USA Inc. (Corporation) was selected from the pre-qualification list, [Service] Structural Engineering - Transportation and Flood Control Design Engineering Category, to provide engineering services for the Peace Way Bridge at Clark County 215 Beltway project.
County staff negotiated the attached professional engineering services contract with WSP USA Inc. The contract describes the service to be provided and stipulated terms. The time of performance is effective to June 28, 2024, unless time extensions are granted.
WSP USA Inc. currently holds a Clark County Business License.
Pursuant to the Nevada Revised Statute 332.115(1)(b), contracts for professional services are not adapted to award by competitive bidding and, therefore, are exempt from the bidding requirements.
