BACKGROUND:
On January 7, 2022, the Board of County Commissioners approved a pre-qualification list to be used to select professional service providers for the period January 7, 2022 through December 31, 2023. The WLB Group, Inc. (Corporation) was selected from the pre-qualification list, [Service] Surveying Construction Staking - Minor, to provide construction land surveying services on the Cactus Avenue between Las Vegas Boulevard and Spencer Street project (Bid No. 605934-21).
County staff negotiated the attached professional surveying services contract with The WLB Group, Inc. The contract describes the services to be provided and the stipulated terms. . The time of performance is effective to October 27, 2023, unless time extensions are granted.
The WLB Group, Inc. currently holds a Clark County Business License.
Pursuant to Nevada Revised Statute 332.115(1)(b), contracts for professional services are not adapted to award by competitive bidding and, therefore, are exempt from the bidding requirements.
The District Attorney’s Office has reviewed and approved the contract as to form.
