BACKGROUND:

This project provides for the maintenance of the dredged work in the Laughlin Lagoon Waterfront located along and adjacent to the Colorado River.  The cost for this maintenance, $71,813.87, is paid for by special assessments levied against benefitted lots, tracts, and parcels of land in Special Improvement District No. 162B.

The resolution calling for the assessment roll, which includes the name and address of each tract owner to be assessed, a description of each tract and the amount of the proposed assessment, directs the Director of Clark County Department of Public Works to prepare the assessment roll.  The resolution calling for a public hearing on the assessment roll is scheduled for Tuesday, May 17, 2022, at 10:00 a.m., in the Clark County Commission Chambers for the Board of County Commissioners to hear and consider complaints, protests and objections to the assessments.

The District Attorney’s Office has reviewed and approved the resolutions as to form.
