BACKGROUND:

On September 5, 2017, the Board of Hospital Trustees approved the Interlocal Medical Office Lease between University Medical Center of Southern Nevada (UMC) and the Board of Regents of the Nevada System of Higher Education (NSHE) on behalf of the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, Kirk Kerkorian School of Medicine at UNLV (School) for Lied Building medical office space located at 1524 Pinto Lane (2nd and 3rd Floors) (“Existing Premises”).  The term of the lease is from November 1, 2017 to October 31, 2022, with the option to extend for two 1-year periods.

This Third Amendment seeks to execute the first of two 1-year option periods extending the term of the lease from November 1, 2022 to October 2023.

This Amendment was reviewed by the Governing Board at their March 30, 2022 meeting and recommended for approval by the Board of Hospital Trustees.
