BACKGROUND: 

Utility providers require property owners to sign certain documents as a condition to performing utility improvements. The Department of Aviation is seeking authorization for the Director of Aviation or her designee to sign forms for utility improvements on Airport owned property, such as:

     •   Overton Power District No. 5: Right-of-Way Easement for the installation and maintenance of electric
         power lines, conduits, electrical pull boxes and meters
     •   Moapa Valley Telephone: Revocable License and Maintenance Agreement for the installation and
         maintenance of telephone lines, conduits and utility vaults

The utility documents will be reviewed and approved as to form by the District Attorney's Office prior to signing.
