BACKGROUND:

Clark County has requested a license of Cox Communications Las Vegas, Inc. ("Cox") for the installation and maintenance of certain fiber optic cabling and wiring within Cox's property to establish broadband communication from County-owned traffic signals to the T-Mobile Arena.  Cox will grant a temporary and revocable license to the County for non-exclusive access to Cox property.

The attached conduit access agreement was negotiated between representatives for the County and Cox.  The agreement describes the terms, conditions, and other related stipulations relating to both the County and Cox, including the County's authorization to occupy Cox property consisting of no more than one (1) 12-strand fiber optic cable for the purposes stated in the conduit access agreement.
