BACKGROUND:

For the past several months representatives from Republic Services have met with County staff to discuss changes to the current franchise agreement to clarify and update certain provisions in the agreement. The Amended and Restated Franchise Agreement also incorporates the services provided to the Clark County Water Reclamation District and Code Enforcement Donation Agreement.

Staff recommends approval of the Amended and Restated Franchise Agreement.
