Description:

Basic food and rehousing assistance for Asian & Pacific Islander American Families

Additional Comments:

The total Contract is in the amount not to exceed $1,379,598.

 

BACKGROUND: 

This Contract is for basic needs assistance such as food and rehousing for Asian and Pacific Islander American Families with Asian Community Development Council (NBE).

A Fiscal Directive No. 6, Competitive Bidding Exception, was approved to address the need for food and shelter assistance due to Covid-19.

The following are the pertinent provisions of the Contract:
•                     The term of the Contract is from August 1, 2021 through June 30, 2022.
•                     Includes the County’s option to terminate for cause, convenience or default and suspend the Contract with                      advanced written notice.

The recommendation of award is in accordance with NRS 332.115.1(b), the competitive bidding process is not required as the services to be performed are professional in nature.

Asian Community Development Council currently holds a Clark County Business License.
