The initial Contract amount was $28,000,000. Amendment No. 1 increased the Contract amount to $35,487,172. Amendment No. 2 increased the Contract amount to $43,929,172. Amendment No. 3 increased the Contract amount to $50,103,724. Amendment No. 4 will increase the contract amount by $37,809,000, for a new total Contract amount of $87,912,724 should all renewal options be exercised. |
BACKGROUND:
On September 20, 2016, the Board of County Commissioners (Board) approved the award of RFQ No. 604131-16 to provide Foster Care Services.
The following are the pertinent provisions of the Contract:
• The term of the Contract was from date of award through September 20, 2017, and included the option to renew for 3, one-year periods. There are no renewal options remaining.
• Included the County’s option to terminate for cause, convenience or default and suspend the Contract with advanced written notice.
Amendment No. 1 updated the daily rates for each category of Foster Care Services.
Amendment No. 2 increased the type of services, added the pricing associated with the services and included contract services eligible for Federal Title IV-E funding reimbursement.
Amendment No. 3 reduced the type of services and revised the pricing of some service.
Approval of Amendment No. 4 will provide for an extension of the Contract term through December 31, 2022 and replace Exhibit D, Agency Foster Rate Care Schedule. The attached Amendment No. 4 document details the modifications and costs involved.
180 Community Wellness Center, LLC, Apple Grove Treatment Center, LLC dba Apple Gove Foster Care Agency, Bamboo Sunrise, LLC, Eagle Quest, Greater Hope Foundation for Children, Inc. dba Greater Hope Foundation, National Youth Advocate Program, Inc., Olive Crest, Shining Star Community Services LLC, Specialized Alternatives for Families and Youth of Nevada, Inc., and St. Jude's Ranch for Children-Nevada Region, Inc. dba St. Jude's Ranch for Children currently hold a Clark County Business License.
