BACKGROUND:

On April 5, 2022, the Board directed staff to draft an ordinance to amend the County Code to remove the requirement for a work identification card for child care workers as this function is now performed by the state.

The proposed ordinance was introduced at the Board of County Commissioners' meeting on April 19, 2022, and a public hearing was set for May 3, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. Staff recommends approval of the ordinance to amend Chapter 6.10 of the County Code.
