BACKGROUND: 

This Agreement is for a jointly funded land use planning study to be performed by an independent third-party.  The purpose of the study is to encourage cooperative planning, efficient provision of services and consistent and compatible land use decision-making.
                     
The following are the pertinent provisions of the Agreement:
                     The term of the Agreement is from date of award through 5 years and includes the option to renew for 2,                      five-year periods.
                     Includes the County’s option to terminate for cause, convenience or default and suspend the Agreement                      with advanced written notice.

The recommendation of award is in accordance with NRS 277.180, the parties are authorized to enter into interlocal contracts to perform governmental functions and activities.
