BACKGROUND: 

On April 5, 2022, the Board directed staff to draft an ordinance to amend the County Code to add a definition of "Enclosed Area" and to allow multiple businesses approved for a liquor license to share an "Enclosed Area" for the use of consumption of liquor outside the exterior of their physical building(s).

Staff recommends that the ordinance to amend Chapter 8.20 of the County Code be introduced and a public hearing be set for June 7, 2022, at 10 a.m.
