BACKGROUND:

This Master Contract is for Adult Group Care Services to be executed with future providers qualified by Clark County Social Service.

The following are the pertinent provisions of the Contract:
The term of the Contract is from July 1, 2022 through June 30, 2023, and includes the option to renew for                      4, one-year periods.
Includes the option to increase the award amount up to 25% based on possible increased user                      requirements for the renewal terms and approved budget appropriations.
Includes the County’s option to terminate for cause, convenience or default and suspend the Contract with                      advanced written notice.

All providers will be reviewed by Clark County Social Service and verified against standard industry qualifications.

The recommendation of award is in accordance with NRS 332.115.1(b), a discretionary award process is permissible because the County required the services of some or all qualified providers of these services and, therefore, the contract is not, by its nature, adaptable to competitive bidding.

All qualified providers shall be required to hold a Clark County Business License or Vendor Registration, prior to Contract award.
