Flamingo Wash - Maryland Pkwy to Palos Verdes St

Additional Comments:

Initial contract amount was $379,200.  Supplement No. 1 increase of $130,500 revises the total contract value to $509,700.

 

BACKGROUND: 

On October 2, 2019, the Board of County Commissioners approved a professional engineering services contract with WSP USA Solutions, Inc., formerly known as Louis Berger U.S., Inc. (Corporation), to provide professional engineering services for the Flamingo Wash between Maryland Parkway and Palos Verdes Street project.

The attached Supplemental No. 1 to the professional engineering services contract increases total funds for additional engineering services for hydrologic and hydraulic analysis, civil and structural engineering design for access gates, access control, fencing, retrofitting the rectangular channel portion of the Tropicana Wash to an enclosed structure north of Flamingo Road, additional survey and right of way design for the Tropicana Wash, and extends the time of performance to July 1, 2024, unless further time extensions are granted.

WSP USA Solutions, Inc. currently holds a Clark County Business License.

The District Attorney's Office has reviewed and approved the first supplemental contract as to form.
