BACKGROUND:

On May 4, 2021, the Board of County Commissioners approved an interlocal contract with the Bullhead City Pest Abatement District (BCPAD) for the joint responsibility of administering an Aquatic Insect Suppression Program to suppress both black flies and caddisflies along the Colorado River from Davis Dam, south approximately 13 miles downstream to the Fort Mojave Indian Reservation.  The approved interlocal contract provided the option of four one-year renewals.

At this time, BCPAD desire to exercise the first option of renewal for one year, effective July 4, 2022.

Approval and authorization of this first renewal option is being sought from the Board.
