BACKGROUND:
On December 21, 2021, the Board of County Commissioners approved a pre-qualification list to be used to select professional service providers for the period of January 1, 2022 through December 31, 2023. CA Group, Inc. (Corporation), was selected from the pre-qualification list category, [Services] Engineering: Highway - Urban Arterial Design, to provide design engineering services for the Russell Road between Hualapai Way and Durango Drive project and the Tropicana Avenue between Durango Drive and Valley View Boulevard project.
County staff negotiated the attached professional surveying services contract with CA Group, Inc. The contract describes the services to be provided and the stipulated terms. The time of performance is effective to December 31, 2024, unless time extensions are granted.
CA Group, Inc. currently holds a Clark County Business License.
Pursuant to the Nevada Revised Statute 332.115(1)(b), contracts for professional services are not adapted to award by competitive bidding and, therefore, are exempt from the bidding requirements.
The District Attorney’s Office has reviewed and approved the contract as to form.
