BACKGROUND:
On December 21, 2021, the Board of County Commissioners approved a pre-qualification list to be used to select professional service providers for the period of January 1, 2022 through December 31, 2023. Poggemeyer Design Group, Inc., a Kleinfelder company (Corporation), was selected from the pre-qualification list category, [Services] Surveying: Construction Staking - Minor, to provide construction land surveying services on the Frank Sinatra Drive (Phase 1) between Russell Road and Arena Drive project (Bid No. 606119-22) and the Frank Sinatra Drive (Phase 2) between Park Avenue and Twain Avenue project (Bid No. 606118-22).
County staff negotiated the attached professional surveying services contract with Poggemeyer Design Group, Inc. The contract describes the services to be provided and the stipulated terms. The time of performance is effective to September 1, 2023, unless time extensions are granted.
Poggemeyer Design Group, Inc. currently holds a Clark County Business License.
Pursuant to the Nevada Revised Statute 332.115(1)(b), contracts for professional services are not adapted to award by competitive bidding and, therefore, are exempt from the bidding requirements
The District Attorney’s Office has reviewed and approved the contract as to form.
