Bid No. 606051-21, for Desert Breeze Park Special Events Area was advertised on November 30, 2021 and opened on March 23, 2022.  The Bid Amounts are as follows:

This Contract consists of construction of undeveloped land through the means of clear and grub, rough grade, cut, over-excavation, haul, import fill, fine grade, dust control and allowance for caliche removal. The project area consists of approximately 12.7 acres of development with approximately 5.5 acres of open natural turf, parking for 225 cars, a pre-fabricated box office, and a pre-engineered 12,000 square feet production / warehouse building and construction of the south half of Kid Zone Parkway from Durango to the existing Desert Breeze Recreation Center.

Additive Alternate No. 1 is for the installation of four (4) power pedestals, conduit, wire and trenching from the power source.

Additive Alternate No. 2 is to provide conduit for the future expansion to the east and west of current phase and includes conduit, pull strings, pull boxes and trenching.

Additive Alternate No. 3 is to provide conduit to four (4) venue/sports lights for the turf panels.

Additive Alternate No. 4 is to provide four (4) venue/sports lights for the turf panels and includes poles, fixtures and wiring, security camera conduit and wiring to each of the four (4) venue or sports lights.

The following are the pertinent provisions of the Contract:
                     The Contractor shall complete the entire work within 600 calendar days from the date specified in the                      Notice to Proceed.
                     Includes the standard termination for cause within 7 business days and termination for convenience                      language as in all public works efforts of this type.

The recommendation of award is in accordance with NRS 338.1385.5, a public body or its authorized representative shall award a contract to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder.
