BACKGROUND: 

Bid No. 606120-22, for Hotel Rio Drive - Flamingo Road to Dean Martin Drive was advertised on March 8, 2022 and opened on April 4, 2022.  The Bid Amounts are as follows:

This Contract is for the removal and replacement of plantmix bituminous surface and UTACS (Ultrathin Asphalt Concrete Surfacings); reconstructing concrete medians and a sidewalk ramp; new curb and gutter; reconstructing sidewalk; ITS facilities; new street lights and upgrading HPS lighting to LED; striping and signing; traffic signal improvements; loop detector replacement; one drop inlet, RCP, and manhole; replacing bearing pads and resurfacing a bridge; reconstructing barrier rail; installing guardrail; resurfacing a concrete channel; concrete crack and spall repairs in the concrete channel.

The following are the pertinent provisions of the Contract:
•                     The Contractor shall complete the entire work within 90 calendar days from the date specified in the                      Notice to Proceed.
•                     Includes the standard termination for cause within 7 business days and termination for convenience                      language as in all public works efforts of this type.

The recommendation of award is in accordance with NRS 338.1385.5, a public body or its authorized representative shall award a contract to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder.

Las Vegas Paving Corporation currently holds a Clark County Business License.
