Professional Services Contract between Clark County and HNTB Corporation

Additional Comments:

Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Airport Improvement Project Grant funds are anticipated to fund approximately 75% of the construction project.

 

BACKGROUND: 

The Clark County Department of Aviation (DOA) recently acquired 33.6 acres of land located west of the Harry Reid International Airport (Airport) airfield.  DOA intends to develop portions of the acquired property for airport purposes, primarily to construct aircraft apron parking to accommodate aeronautical demand safely and efficiently at Airport.

The Project will design 64,000 square yards of aircraft apron pavement, aircraft taxiway pavement, security fencing, associated utilities, and access roadways. FAA grant funds are anticipated to fund approximately 75% of the construction project. 

In accordance with NRS 332.115.1(b), the services to be performed are professional in nature and therefore exempt from competitive bidding requirements.

This contract has been reviewed and approved as to form by the District Attorney's Office. Company currently holds a Clark County Business License.
