BACKGROUND:

The City of Henderson (COH) desires to collaborate with Clark County with implementation of the project by administering the design and construction of the project.  Clark County's Capital Improvement Program includes a project for the widening of the Clark County 215 Bruce Woodbury Beltway between Pecos Road and Stephanie Street to eight lanes - four lanes in each direction, along with the addition of auxiliary lanes between interchanges.

The attached interlocal agreement denotes the County provide funds for design services and outlines the roles and responsibilities of the County and COH.  A separate agreement will be negotiated to address funding for construction of the subject project after completion of design.

COH approved the interlocal agreement at its Council meeting held on May 3, 2022.

The Board of County Commissioners is scheduled to approve the interlocal agreement at its meeting on June 7, 2022.

The District Attorney's Office has reviewed and approved the interlocal agreement as to form.
