BACKGROUND:

This project, Special Improvement District No. 126B - Boulder Highway Strip Maintenance, provides for maintenance of the landscape improvements along Boulder Highway from Interstate 515 to the intersection of Desert Inn Road and Lamb Boulevard, and along Boulder Highway from Flamingo Road to approximately 900 feet south of East Sun Valley Drive.  The cost for this maintenance is paid for by special assessments levied against benefitted lots.

On May 17, 2022, the Board of County Commissioners introduced the ordinance levying the assessments against the properties, and also conducted a public hearing for complaints, protests, and objections with respect to the assessment roll of which none, written nor oral, were received.  The Board also approved and adopted a resolution confirming the assessment roll.  This is the time set for the public hearing for adoption of the ordinance.

The District Attorney’s Office has reviewed and approved the ordinance as to form.
