BACKGROUND:

On May 3, 2021, the Board of County Commissioners (Board) approved the award of Bid 605757-20 for Residential Streets Pavement Reconstruction #103 to Aggregate Industries-SWR, Inc. in the amount of $10,284,980 for excavating, repairing and relocating various components/materials of residential streets in Clark County.

The following are the pertinent provisions of the Contract:
The Contractor shall complete the entire work within 220 calendar days from the date specified after the                      receipt of the Notice to Proceed.
Included the standard termination for cause within 7 business days and termination for convenience                      language as in all public works efforts of this type.

Change Order No. 1 was issued because Clark County Public Works (CCPW) identified two (2) additional areas, Owens and Mt. Hood (Kingsridge Subdivision) and Alto and Hollywood (Hollywood Hills Subdivision), that needed to be added. The additional work included reconstruction of the streets, curbs, gutters and sidewalks, and new ADA ramps.

Change Order No. 2 was issued for the completion of additional areas of work including changes to the improvements on Burnham Avenue, and additional streets including, Brookview Way, Meadowglen Circle, Meadowglen Way and Meadowglen Drive, and extend the contract by 32 days.

Approval of Change Order No. 3 provides for additional work that will make changes to the improvements on Eldora Avenue and Westwind Road to accommodate existing driveways and provide additional pavement to mitigate on street stormwater flows and adds Tamarus Street between Warm Springs and the UPRR ROW to the north and extends the contract by 44 days. The attached Change Order No. 3 document details the modifications and costs involved.

Aggregate Industries-SWR, Inc. currently holds a Clark County Business License.
