BACKGROUND:

On November 20, 1998, the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) issued a right-of-way grant (N-62128) to Clark County for roadway designated in Section 9, Township 23 South, Range 61 East, M.D.M.  Right-of-way Grant N-62128 is for portions of Bruner Avenue, Fairfield Avenue, Placid Street, and Keehn Avenue located within jurisdiction of Henderson, Nevada.

The City of Henderson now desires to assume full responsibility for the above-mentioned right-of-way (roadway) and is willing to accept all terms and conditions of the BLM Grant N-62128.

Public Works recommends the assignment of the grant to the City of Henderson.
