BACKGROUND:

On August 2, 2016, the Board of County Commissioners approved a professional engineering services contract with R2H Engineering, Inc. to provide professional engineering services for the Jones Boulevard between Blue Diamond Road to Windmill Lane project.  Effective March 31, 2018, R2H Engineering, Inc. was acquired by Horrocks Engineers, Inc., and began operating as R2H Engineering, Inc. d/b/a Horrocks Engineers, Inc.

The Board previously approved one supplemental contract with R2H Engineering, Inc. d/b/a Horrocks Engineers, Inc. extending the contract term to December 31, 2023.

The attached Supplemental No. 2 to the professional engineering services contract with R2H Engineering, Inc. d/b/a Horrocks Engineers, Inc. increases total funds for additional design services for the subject project.

Horrocks Engineers, Inc. currently holds a Clark County Business License.

The District Attorney's Office has reviewed and approved the second supplemental contract as to form.
