BACKGROUND:
The Regional Transportation Commission of Southern Nevada (RTC) has approved and budgeted funding for the Dean Martin Drive between Oquendo Road and Ali Baba Lane project in RTC's Highway Improvement Acquisition Fund for Fiscal Year 2022.
The attached Interlocal Contract No. 3032 allocates funds for construction with improvements on Dean Martin Drive between Oquendo Road and Ali Baba Lane to consist of pavement rehabilitation, removal and replacement of pavement markings, upgrades for Americans with Disabilities Act compliance to existing substandard curb ramps, replacement of damaged curb, gutter, and sidewalk, traffic control devices, upgrade existing streetlight luminaires to light emitting diodes, utility vertical adjustments, fiber optic conduits installations, and other appurtenances necessary to construct a complete and functional project. The time of performance is effective to June 30, 2027, unless time extensions are granted.
This project is included on the adopted RTC Capital Improvement Plan. RTC approved the interlocal contract at its meeting on May 19, 2022.
The District Attorney's Office has reviewed and approved the interlocal contract as to form.
