BACKGROUND:

At the February 15, 2022, Board of County Commissioner's meeting, the Board approved an MOU between Clark County (County) and the Eighth Judicial District Court (EJDC).  The MOU provides that the EJDC may participate in the County's Section 457 Deferred Compensation Plan (the Plan).

Due to a previously scheduled maintenance upgrade of the Plan administrator's platform, the Plan administrator cannot add the EJDC as a separate employer. This restatement of the Plan will allow EJDC employee's to continue participating in the Plan until the Plan administrator is able to update the Plan platform with the EJDC as a separate employer.
