BACKGROUND:
Clark County Commissioners Marilyn Kirkpatrick and Ross Miller hosted The Great Northwest Country Fest on Saturday, June 18, 2022, at the Lone Mountain Equestrian Park and Trail.
The free event featured live country music, a performance by the Pahrump Gunfighters, food provided by “Road Kill Grill” BBQ, a country farmer’s market, bounce houses, line and square dancing lessons, and dutch oven cooking demonstrations.
The livestock area included two petting zoos, demonstrations of mounted shooting, escaramuza performances, and the Commissioners’ Challenge Play Day. Over 30 riders competed in three events. Today we are awarding trophy buckles to the top four riders in each class.
