BACKGROUND:
The Regional Transportation Commission of Southern Nevada (RTC) has approved Interlocal Contract No. 3045 and budgeted funding for the Hacienda Avenue between Rainbow Boulevard and Decatur Boulevard project in RTC's Highway Improvement Fund for Fiscal Year 2023. The design is 90 percent complete and all necessary rights-of-way have been obtained for this project.
The attached Interlocal Contract No. 3045 allocates funds for construction of the Hacienda Avenue between Rainbow Boulevard and Decatur Boulevard improvements project consisting to include pavement rehabilitation, Americans with Disabilities Act upgrades, signage and striping, utility adjustments, sidewalk, curb and gutter repairs, signal modifications, and Intelligent Transportation System infrastructure, and other appurtenances necessary to construct a complete and functional project. The time of performance is effective to December 31, 2027, unless time extensions are granted.
RTC approved the interlocal contract at its meeting on July 14, 2022.
The District Attorney's Office has reviewed and approved the interlocal contract as to form.
