BACKGROUND:
Bid No. 605954-21, for Fairgrounds Detention Basin and Outfall System was advertised on April 20, 2022 and opened on June 8, 2022. The Bid Amounts are as follows:

This Contract is for the construction of a 135 acre-foot detention basin and 375-foot long emergency spillway northeast of the intersection of Heyer Street and Whipple Avenue and an outfall system along Heyer Street from the detention basin to Whipple Avenue and along Whipple Avenue from Heyer Street to the Muddy River. The outfall system consists of 1.1-miles of reinforced concrete pipe, 0.75-miles of reinforced box culvert storm drain, and associated manholes, drop inlets, and lateral storm drains. The project also includes paving and striping along Whipple Avenue and Lyman Street within the project limits.
The following are the pertinent provisions of the Contract:
• The Contractor shall complete the entire work within 365 calendar days from the date specified in the Notice to Proceed.
• Includes the standard termination for cause within 7 business days and termination for convenience language as in all public works efforts of this type.
The recommendation of award is in accordance with NRS 338.1385.5, a public body or its authorized representative shall award a contract to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder.
CG&B Enterprises, Inc. currently holds a Clark County Business License.
