BACKGROUND:

These vehicles (VIN #s 1FTWW31R78ED45693 and 1FTWW31R09EA62179) have been fully utilized by County Administrative Services and have been retired from service for exceeding the established replacement criteria. The State of Nevada has a need to add reliable duty vehicles to its fleet for the general maintenance and operation of Southern Nevada State Parks.

In accordance with NRS Chapter 334.030, a governmental entity may enter a contract with another governmental entity for the purchase of surplus personal property without the necessity of bidding.

The District Attorney has approved the resolution and contract of sale form.
