BACKGROUND:
The Regional Flood Control District (RFCD) has programmed funds for flood control improvements. On September 12, 2013, RFCD and Clark County entered into an interlocal contract for the Silverado Ranch Detention Basin and Outfall Facilities (a/k/a Silverado Ranch Detention Basin) project. The Board of County Commissioners approved the interlocal contract on October 1, 2013.
RFCD and the County previously approved three supplementals to the interlocal contract for this project to formally change the project name from "Silverado Ranch Detention Basin" to "Silverado Ranch Detention Basin and Outfall Facilities", increased total funds for flood control, construction, and construction management, and extended the time of performance to June 30, 2024.
The attached Supplemental No. 4 to the interlocal contract increases total funds for entity design labor for the project.
The project is approved on RFCD's annual Ten-Year Construction Program, and is described in the 2008, 2013, and 2018 Clark County Flood Control Master Plan Updates, respectively. RFCD approved the fourth supplemental contract at its meeting on August 11, 2022.
The District Attorney's Office has reviewed and approved the fourth supplemental contract as to form.
