BACKGROUND:

The Clark County Regional Flood Control District (RFCD) has approved and programmed funds for flood control improvements for the Harry Reid Airport Peaking Basin - East Outfall project.  The regional storm drain system is approximately 4,237 feet in length and projected to convey flow from the Harry Reid Airport Peaking Basin (a proposed regional flood control facility) to the Tropicana Wash.

The attached interlocal contract will provide funds in Year 1 of RFCD's Ten-Year Construction Program for construction, construction management, and entity construction management labor, which consists of 54" reinforced concrete pipe, 6' x 4' and 8' x 4' reinforced concrete boxes with transition structures and access appurtenances improvements for the subject project.

The project is described in the 2018 Clark County Regional Flood Control District's Master Plan Update as Facility Numbers TRSW 0000, TRSW 0003, AND TRSW 0074.  RFCD approved the interlocal contract at its meeting on August 11, 2022.

The District Attorney's Office has reviewed and approved the interlocal contract as to form.
