BACKGROUND:

The Nevada Department of Transportation (NDOT) has a project to install a Ramp Metering System at the intersection of Primm Boulevard and the I-15 South on-ramp, and to connect to existing County-owned equipment consisting of an electrical service pedestal and traffic signal infrastructure that provides power to the existing traffic signal (County Signal Equipment), owned and maintained by the County at this intersection, for the purpose of providing electrical power to the new Ramp Metering System in Clark County, Nevada.

The County is willing to allow NDOT access to the County Signal Equipment for the purpose of providing electrical power to the Ramp Metering System at the intersection of Primm Boulevard and the I-15 South on-ramp.

The attached Interlocal Agreement No. P315-22-016 identifies the responsibilities and stipulations of both the County and NDOT as they relate to this project.

The District Attorney's Office has reviewed and approved interlocal agreement as to form.
